Is located near the Rif mountains, the route leading fro m the northwest to the northeastern part of the country. El Jebha is the capital of the district (cercle) Mtiwa and is part of the province of Chefchaouen in the region of Tangier-Tetouan. The name of the city is directly linked to its geographical location.
